Press Deal to start.
Practice points only. No real money, no sign-up, nothing to buy.
Quick answer: Blackjack Unblocked is a free blackjack game that runs in your browser. There is no download, no sign-up and no real money. It is plain HTML5 and JavaScript served from one domain, so it opens on most Chromebooks, school laptops and work PCs. Our table uses Aussie rules (no hole card, double on 9 to 11).
How to play this version
We built this table to feel like a real shoe game, not a toy. Every hand follows the same five steps:
- Press Deal. Each hand uses 10 practice points, and you start with 1,000.
- You get two cards, the dealer gets one. The dealer's second card arrives only after you finish (the no hole card rule used in Australia).
- Choose Hit, Stand, Double or Split. Hit takes a card. Stand keeps your total. Double doubles your stake for exactly one more card. Split turns a pair into two hands.
- The dealer plays. The dealer draws to 16 and stands on every 17 (soft or hard).
- Points are settled. A win pays 1 to 1, a blackjack pays 3 to 2 and a tie is a push.
The rules at our table
- 6 decks, reshuffled when fewer than 52 cards are left in the shoe
- Dealer stands on all 17s
- Blackjack pays 3 to 2
- Double on 9, 10 or 11 only (first two cards)
- Split once. Split aces get one card each.
- No hole card. If the dealer makes blackjack, you lose every stake on the table, including doubles and splits.
- No insurance, no surrender
Think the missing dealer card is just a cosmetic difference? It is not. It changes when you should double and split, and I cover that in the strategy tips below.
Why this game works at school or at work
Most "unblocked" games get blocked for simple reasons. Web filters such as GoGuardian, Securly and Lightspeed sort sites into categories. Big game portals, heavy ad networks and third-party scripts are easy to spot and easy to block. Old Flash games stopped working altogether after Flash reached end of life at the end of 2020.
We kept this page small on purpose:
- No download. Nothing to install, so it runs on locked-down devices.
- No Flash, no plugins. Plain HTML5 and JavaScript that any current browser understands.
- One domain. The game code lives on this site, not in an iframe from a game portal.
- No sign-up, no email. You press Deal and play.
- Light on data. The cards are text and CSS, so the table loads quickly on slow school Wi-Fi.
One honest note. We cannot promise any filter will let this page through, because every school and office sets its own rules. If the page is blocked on your network, please respect that and play at home instead. And I will say it plainly: play on your break, not in class.
Our guide to blackjack unblocked at school goes further: why games get blocked, how this page differs from copies on Unblocked Games 66, 76, Classroom 6x and Google Sites, and what to do if it will not open.
Basic strategy tips for this table
In my experience, new players lose most of their points on the same handful of hands. These tips follow basic strategy for a 6-deck, no hole card game like ours:
- Stand on hard 17 or more. Always.
- Stand on 13 to 16 when the dealer shows 2 to 6. Let the dealer take the risk of busting.
- Stand on 12 only against a 4, 5 or 6. Hit it against everything else.
- Hit 12 to 16 when the dealer shows 7, 8, 9, 10 or an ace.
- Double 10 and 11 against 2 to 9. Against a 10 or an ace, just hit (with no hole card, a dealer blackjack takes your doubled stake).
- Double 9 against 3 to 6.
- Split aces against anything except an ace.
- Split 8s against 2 to 9, hit them against a 10 or an ace.
- Soft hands: hit soft 17 or less, stand on soft 18 against 2 to 8 (hit it against 9, 10 or an ace) and stand on soft 19 or more.
- Skip insurance if you ever see it offered. It is a side bet that favours the house.
Think doubling 11 is always right? Not without a hole card. Against a dealer 10, the chance of a hidden blackjack turns a strong play into a costly one. To drill these plays one hand at a time, use our free blackjack trainer (it has an Aussie rules mode). For every hand, open our printable blackjack strategy chart for Aussie rules.
Mobile, offline and no download
Do you need an app to play blackjack on a phone? No. This page is the whole game:
- Phones and tablets. The buttons are sized for touch, so the table works on an iPhone, an Android phone or an iPad.
- Chromebooks and laptops. Any current Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox runs it.
- Patchy Wi-Fi. Once the page has loaded, every hand is dealt inside your browser, so a dropped connection does not stop the game.
- Nothing to install, nothing stored. No app, no account. Your practice points reset when you close the page.
The honest limit: this is not an offline app. You need a connection to open the page the first time, and a closed tab cannot be reopened until you are back online.
Aussie rules in 60 seconds
Australian blackjack is not Las Vegas blackjack with a different accent. Here is what changes:
- No hole card. The dealer takes a second card only after all players act, so the dealer cannot check for blackjack early.
- Doubles and splits can be lost to a dealer blackjack. The exact rule varies by venue and game, which is why some Vegas plays do not carry over.
- Double on 9, 10 or 11 only at most standard tables.
- Soft 17 rules differ. Some games stand on all 17s, others hit soft 17. Always read the rule card first.
- Local variants are common. Games such as Blackjack Plus and Australian Pontoon use different rules again.
Think a 3:2 table is always the better deal? Check the soft 17 rule first. We practise with the strict no hole card version here, so you learn the plays that matter locally. Our guide to Australian blackjack rules covers every difference, and the no hole card guide shows what a dealer blackjack costs in dollars. Real casino play in Australia is for adults 18+ only, and this page is a free game and learning tool, nothing more.
Blackjack Unblocked vs other free blackjack games
We looked at the free games people search for alongside ours. Each has strengths, so here is a fair comparison:
| Game | Where it runs | Account | Aussie rules explained | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 247 Blackjack | Browser, large game network | Not required | No | Polished, with seasonal themes, but big game portals are often listed under "games" by school filters |
| Arkadium Blackjack | Browser, game portal | Optional | No | Smooth table, ad-supported |
| MSN Games Blackjack | Inside the MSN site | Not required | No | Handy if MSN is already open, but it sits inside a large portal with its own ads |
| Black Jack Unblocked | This page, one domain | None | Yes | Fewer themes for now; the 2-3 player mode and the trainer have their own pages |
Which one should you pick? If you want lots of themes, the big portals do that well. If you want a light table that teaches the rules you will meet in Australia, stay here.
Frequently asked questions
Is Blackjack Unblocked free to play?
Yes. The game is free, with no download, no sign-up and no email. You press Deal and play in your browser.
Is this real-money blackjack?
No. There are no deposits, no prizes and nothing to cash out. The game uses practice points only, and you can reset them any time.
Does it work on Unblocked Games 66, 76 or Classroom 6x?
Those are separate sites that collect games, and we are not connected with them. This game has its own address, so you can bookmark it and open it directly instead of hunting for a mirror.
Is this the Google Sites version of blackjack unblocked?
No. Many copies sit on Google Sites or GitHub pages with no rules and no updates. This page is maintained, explains the rules of its table and shows an updated date at the top.
Can I play multiplayer or 2 player blackjack here?
Yes, on one screen. Our multiplayer blackjack page seats 2 or 3 players in hot seat mode: each player takes a turn and passes the device. There is no online lobby.
Does it work on mobile, iPad and Chromebook?
It is built with plain HTML5 and JavaScript, so it runs in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox. The buttons are sized for touch screens.
Can I play blackjack unblocked offline?
Partly. Once the page has loaded, the cards are dealt inside your browser, so a dropped connection does not stop the game. You need a connection to open the page the first time.
Why is there no hole card in this game?
We use the Australian no hole card rule: the dealer takes a second card only after you finish. If that card makes blackjack, you lose all stakes on the table, including doubles and splits.
Ready for a hand?
Deal a few hands, try the tips above and watch how often the dealer busts when showing a 5 or a 6. I still practise this way before I review any new blackjack table, and it is the fastest way to make the plays automatic.
